Dow Advantage Partnership
WaterWoman Sustainability Education is happy to be partnered with the Dow Advantage student PR firm at Flagler College. Meet the students who help make WWSE what it is.
Kaitlyn Headrick
Digital Strategy & Blog Writer
Kaitlyn Headrick is a senior at Flagler College studying Strategic Communication with minors in Marketing and Advertising. She has worked with small businesses in the area, contributing PR and digital marketing work to help them thrive and grow.
Growing up in Florida has fostered her love for nature, water, and the environment. Attending school in Florida, and in the historic city of St. Augustine, has also cultivated her interest in the tourism industry. She hopes to pursue a communications career in the tourism field, and combine that with her recent interest in sustainable tourism, in part inspired by her time with WWSE.
Destynee Jones
Graphic Designer
Destynee Jones is a Flagler College senior studying Strategic Communication and Digital Media Production. She has worked on many campaigns as a media specialist and content producer, often providing videography and photography to non-profits and small businesses. When she isn't in class, she runs a small media production company and offers freelance graphic design to clients.
As a Bahamian-American who grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, Destynee couldn't wait to move to a coast where she could stand on a beach and finally "see the edge of the world." She has since become more engaged in environmental and sustainability efforts, and hopes to see her passions collide in the future.
Bri Grall
Digital Strategist & Blog Writer
Bri Grall is a Flagler College student obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Production. Graduating May, 2021, Bri hopes to work in the entertainment industry. Through DOW Advantage Public Relations Firm, Bri has had hands on experience in all sectors of public relations with a variety of clients.
Through community service and volunteering at rehabilitation centers, Bri realized her passions can coincide with her work. Miss Grall is excited to help the Water Woman iniative by working as a digital media strategist and blog writer.
Chase Bendik
Graphic Designer
Chase is a senior studying strategic communication with a graphic design and advertising focus. She has worked on numerous campaigns supporting environmental efforts both in her home town and at Flagler College. She hopes to build her career by integrating her passions of communications and design.
Chase grew up on a small island off the coast of NJ in a town called Surf City. Her whole life she has been surrounded by water in every way. She has been an ocean lifeguard and a sailing coach at her local yacht club since she was old enough to work. Her love for communications and design came straight from Surf City Yacht Club by communicating between kids, parents, and other sailing teams along the island as well as designing T-shirts for club regattas. The water truly fuels both her sails and her passions.
